Responsible For: Joint line management of Boulevard full-time team.
Salary: £40,000

Underbelly Boulevard will be a new live entertainment venue for music, cabaret, variety and comedy, comprising of a 200 capacity cabaret and music venue, a rehearsal room for hire, daytime hire for events, readings and workshops, a bar and a restaurant.
ROLE
People Management
- Conducting weekly check-ins with core venue team and escalating HR issues appropriately.
- Cultivating a safe and positive team culture by organising regular team meetings, setting team meeting agendas and managing issues as they arise in a constructive manner.
- Approving leave requests and ensuring the team is always adequately resourced in conjunction with Underbelly heads of departments.
- Quality checking the timesheets of all casual staff.
- Ensuring the recruitment of casual staff follows Underbelly processes.
Compliance
- Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the venue in line with appropriate legislation, policies and procedures.
- Developing venue policies, procedures and risk assessments under the supervision of the Underbelly Head of Operations.
- Ensuring all relevant policies, procedures and risk assessments are disseminated to staff and always complied with.
- Coordinating the induction and training in health and safety, emergency procedures and general building awareness.
- Being fully conversant with conditions of the venue’s premises licence and ensuring these are strictly adhered to.
Building Management
- Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the venue in line with appropriate legislation, policies and procedures.
- Developing venue policies, procedures and risk assessments under the supervision of the Underbelly Head of Operations.
- Ensuring all relevant policies, procedures and risk assessments are disseminated to staff and always adhered to.

Other Duties
- Attending regular company meetings.
- Contributing to the development of the venue’s policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
