OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

In October, Underbelly opened it’s first permanent home, Underbelly Boulevard Soho. It’s a very exciting journey in the company’s history and the chance for an experienced marketer to make a dent in the West End theatre and hospitality landscape. Underbelly Boulevard is a venue encompassing a bar, restaurant, and performance space, open all day, 7 days a week.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work alongside Underbelly’s Head of Marketing and Social Media Officer to manage the marketing strategy and rollout of this new venue. You will manage and be the first point of contact for all show marketing as well as the restaurant and bar.

Within this role, you’ll work across specific Underbelly Productions within the building and where priorities allow, some events and productions external to Underbelly Boulevard. You’ll be an integral part of our marketing team, working alongside and managing permanent and temporary team members.

Responsibilities include developing the campaign, budget management, deals with ticket agencies, poster designs and rollout, paid media planning and tracking, emails to Underbelly mailing lists, website management, brand partnership implementation, PR management and more depending on the campaign. You’ll be the key point of contact alongside the head of marketing and programming team for agencies – media, design, PR – and any producers and stakeholders involved in the project.

We are looking for someone creative, diligent and a self-starter. There will be aspects of this role where you will be the main strategic lead, but there are also times when you need to look after the nitty gritty tasks. No two days will be the same.
