The Queen of Weimar punk Bernie Dieter finally returns to the UK after sell-out shows around the world with her luxuriously gin soaked, Weimar-punk evening of dangerously funny kabarett, breathtaking circus and fire-breathing sideshow at its most inappropriate, provocative and hilarious best.
Join über-award-winning kabarett superstar Bernie Dieter, her live band and travelling family of misfits, miscreants and fantastic freaks for an unmissable night. Soundtracked by riotous, witty, and hilariously defiant original songs.
ROLE
- Acting as show stage manager.
- Scheduling of the cast and running of rehearsals.
- Keeping full record of all information pertaining to shows, including turnaround notes, cue sheets and nightly show reports.
- Ensuring that all backstage facilities and show equipment are maintained to the highest standard.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to by the company and reporting any issues to management.
- Making sure the show in running safely and on time.
- Lice scene changes.
- Assisting acts with any needs that might come up whilst in the venue.
- Props tracking throughout the show.
- Working alongside Underbelly and Club Kabarett to create and deliver the show to the highest standard.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience of working as a stage manager in a professional environment, preferably in a fast-paced circus, cabaret line-up setting.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety in a theatrical environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working at height and with lifting.
